I just want to know.

They can actually both be effective. I prefer traditional crunches. Although it is best to change your routine so your body does not peak. Do traditional for a few weeks then switch to the ball and so forth.

I’m really not into sports. I’ve tried badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and swimming, and I don’t like all of them. I’ve tried going to the gym, but I just can’t motivate myself to make it a habit. I’m trying to slim down a bit but I don’t know what exercise is good for me since I easily get bored with normal workouts and stuff. Can you recommend any fun sport/exercise/workout technique?

Getting a Wii and even a Wii fit will really help you. It’s really fun, and every game will help you to tone some of the parts of your body and lose some weight. If you get a dancing game or Wii Fit, it will help you even more. Wii Sports is also really good (mainly for your hand muscles!) You can also walk, or cycle which is also a lot of fun. Another suggestion is to turn on your radio and just start dancing! You will lose a lot of calories before you can even understand it!

I gave this answer to someone else with the same question here you go.
Train 3x a week your abs and make sure you hit all the partTrain 3x a week your abs with 1 rest day in between and make sure you hit all the parts. Upperabs, lower abs, obliques and the transverse abdominis.
You can do the crunch, bent-knee hip raise, crunch side-bend, corkscrew and a very good one is the air bike. There are many other exercises you can do. Click on the link and have a look your self. Do the moves slowly; don’t throw with your body. This way you don’t hit the abs good. 4 seconds up, 4 seconds down.

The second thing what you have to do to see the abs is to reduce your body fat. The lower the body fat the better you see them. With a body fat of 20% you will never see them, so watch what you eat. First you have to start eating healthy. Eat you veggies and you fruit. Than you have to cut the fat out of your meals, but not totally. Fats like olive oil, fish oil, nut oil, flax seed oil are all very good to your body and can even stimulate your body to burn his own fat. Don’t eat any carbohydrates after 6 pm and if you eat carbohydrates, eat something like whole grain bread, cereals or brown rice and cut sugar totally out of your meals. Sugar makes fat.
Eat 6 little meals a day instead of 3 big meals.

And ……of course do cardio. Do at least 3x a week cardio, but more is better. If you never did cardio before build it up slowly. If you can do easy 20-30 minutes a time than you can start to do interval training. This really speeds up your metabolism and it will burn more fat. You can do 3-5 minute warm up. Than you do 30 seconds at moderate or high intensity, followed by 1-minute low intensity. If you get better, you can build it up to 1-minute moderate or high intensity, followed by 1-minute low intensity. This you repeat 6 to 10 times, where after you start the cooling down for 3 to 5 minutes.
If you are consequent than you will see those abs coming.
Good luck with it.

Loosing Weight loss is not an easy task. Many people trying to lose weight have been on numerous diets and have tried just about every “fad diet” that has been around.

1. Exercise and eat right

And regular exercise not only helps you slim down your whole body, it actually shrinks the size of fat cells in your stomach.

2. Get down to your healthy weight

Losing that gut isn’t easy, but you can improve your contours (and lower your risk of heart disease and cancer) by lowering your overall body mass index.

3. Don’t be a stress case

Scientists are studying the link between stress and belly fat. Heightened cortisol levels in blood, resulting from stress, seem to react with the body’s insulin to create visceral abdominal fat — and, in a double whammy, to also drive us toward fatty, sugary foods. Reducing stress may make it easier to say no to barbecue chips or chocolate truffles that go straight to the waistline. Try yoga as a way of cutting stress

4. Stop boozing, quit smoking

Both smoking and alcohol raise the levels of the stress hormone cortisol in your body. See Tactic #3 for a refresher on what that means for your gut.

5. Hire a personal trainer

Embarking on a fitness regime is more likely to be successful if you invest in some one-on-one workouts with a personal trainer.

6. Skip the Thai, meet for sushi instead

A recent Japanese study found that fucoxanthin, a compound in brown seaweed, shrank abdominal fat in lab animals, and encouraged a five to 10 per cent weight loss. Human studies are next, but the scientists are excited.

7. Avoid trans fats like the plague

A recent study found that not only do trans fats create excess visceral fat in the abdomen, they actually cause fat from other parts of the body to redistribute there.

8. Don’t believe late-night infomercials

American Council on Exercise (ACE) found that expensive ab-targeting home-exercise equipment is no better than (and in some cases, is worse than) good, old-fashioned exercises.

The weight loss and diet method is useful for all type of peoples. Please purchase and visit online http://www.soundbodytrainer.com in NewYork city.

Absolutely. As a swimmer I focus on a strong core and shoulders besides cardio to hold your breath longer. For a strong core I use an exercise ball. Try laying on your back with the ball under your feet. Lift your hips and off the ground to create a straight line hold for 5 seconds and repeat. There are other great things also. Try holding a plank not only on your front but both your sides. For keeping shoulders in great condition I use resistance bands to strengthen them (http://www.byrn.org/gtips/swimcords.htm great web to help). Also, don’t forgot to do cardio like running or stadium stair running to hold your breathe longer in the pool.
