What exercise would be good for someone who hates doing physical activities?

I’m really not into sports. I’ve tried badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and swimming, and I don’t like all of them. I’ve tried going to the gym, but I just can’t motivate myself to make it a habit. I’m trying to slim down a bit but I don’t know what exercise is good for me since I easily get bored with normal workouts and stuff. Can you recommend any fun sport/exercise/workout technique?

Getting a Wii and even a Wii fit will really help you. It’s really fun, and every game will help you to tone some of the parts of your body and lose some weight. If you get a dancing game or Wii Fit, it will help you even more. Wii Sports is also really good (mainly for your hand muscles!) You can also walk, or cycle which is also a lot of fun. Another suggestion is to turn on your radio and just start dancing! You will lose a lot of calories before you can even understand it!

Walking. A 3 mile walk at a good pace (or even slower) helps. Find different places that has things to look at as you walk.

I’m not into any sports, but I like walking, sometimes with music on my ipod. I find myself thinking about other things, working through issues, etc., and it’s not boring that way. And it makes me feel so much better afterward emotionally, that it makes me want to keep walking, keeps me motivated.

First off get a partner to exercise with. Makes it easier.
Bike rides burn alot of calories and you can talk at the same time.
A rowing machine can burn more calories faster. You could time each other and try to beat your times. You can do it at home if you get your own rowing machine. Also you can watch tv while rowing. Just spend about 15 minutes on the rowing machine and try to build up to half an hour. Try to make the intensity go up aswell.

I give the Wii Fit 5 stars had the developers allowed for full work outs. What I mean by this is that the exercises are good, and each one must be completed in order to get the Wii Fit credits, however, after each one to two minute exercise is over, there is a review time for score and then you must select doing it again or choosing another exercise and so on, so there is a one to two minute wait before the next physical exercise. In order to actually do a 30 minute workout, well it would take at least an hour, and this would not allow a continuous 30 minute workout, as you must stop between each routine.

I have found that I only use the Wii Fit to track my progress, and for this the Wii Fit is excellent. I go to the gym for weight lifting and cardio, come home and track my progress with the Wii.

I know several new games will be coming out for the Wii Fit board, so it will get more use than just a progress tracker.

I do find the Wii Fit board entertaining though, friends get on and whenever the fit board tells them they are overweight of course they all say the board does not take into account muscle mass etc, they all come up with excuses, no one likes to hear the truth.

I recommend this product, because it does motivate, and anything that helps to motivate good health is a plus.
